The SER Foundation was created in November 2011 with an intent to help the needy, less fortunate, and those afflicted with incurable diseases. The goal of the foundation is to provide meals, clothing, toys, and money to make a difference to those in need.

SER is currently working with the following organizations to give back to the community and make a difference: Montgomery County Office of Children and Youth, American Cancer Society, American Diabetes Association, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

“I had a mom and the sweetest boy, about 7 or so, come in this morning. He helped his mom pick out things for his younger brother and sister…Without your help I would have had very little to offer. He went out of here wishing everyone he passed “Merry Christmas”…I almost expected him to say “God bless us, every one”… I wish you could have seen him. Thank you.”

SER Helps Feed the Hungry

One of the activities that the SER Foundation has actively participated in since inception is the SER Turkey Drive. Full Thanksgiving meals are purchased and donated to local families in need in Montgomery County. In 2015, the SER Foundation supplied meals to 5 families; in 2016, that number will increase to 7.

Annual Toy Drive brightens Christmas morning for Local Children

Each year, the SER Foundation collects and matches donations of toys for impoverished families unable to purchase presents for their children during the holiday season. In 2014, the Foundation donated over 100 toys to the Montgomery County Office of Children and Youth. In 2015, 150 toys were collected and then the SER Foundation matched the donations and distributed 300 toys among both the MCOCY and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. In 2016, that number will grow even larger and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital will be added to the list of recipients.
